Katie Woo has been learning about mummies, when she decides to make one of her own. With Pedro's help, Katie makes a wonderful mummy and case. When the two mummy makers let their project sit to dry, the mummy goes missing! Katie and Pedro start collecting clues that they hope will lead them to the missing mummy.

When Pedro and his dad walk Katie home on a foggy night, something smelly fills the air! With their noses working extra hard, the two friends have a mystery to solve: What is that making that stink, and why is it following them?
